Here’s little Ali Claire groovin’ and shakin’
Today I’m thankful for boys who are home when it’s cold out and the trash needs to go to the curb before the truck gets to our house!!
Today (and every day) I’m thankful for our baby Alison Claire a.k.a.:
Ali Claire
Ali
Clarabelle
Alison
Snickerdoodle
Punkin
Sugar
Sweetie Pie
etc.
She is 11 mo old today 11-21-11. In 1 mo she’ll be 1(12mo)on 12-21-11…hence all the numbers (just funny that it’s a bunch of 1′s and 2′s!
She is the sweetest little baby. So content, calm, quiet and down right snuggable! God has exponentially grown the love in our home when he gave us her! She’s started smiling at just a couple weeks old and hasn’t stopped yet, making at minimum 4 other people smile with her each time. We just love you, little girl!!
I’m thankful that we had nearly 11 months with a new baby that couldn’t get into anything and everything! For the last couple months she could roll places and then sort of scoot, but now this week she’s crawling!! It’s very sweet when I’m busy and I feel that little tug on my pants or the little fingers on my toes, I’ve missed that. So we’re busy trying to keep everything clean(an impossible task yet we try). We also need to re-install our gate so we can have at least one child that doesn’t tumble down them
(I really don’t think all of them did, but some!) immobility
I’m so glad that my firstborn was able to go deer hunting for the first time with his dad this morning! They woke up at 2:45am to leave. He had a good time but unfortunately they didn’t even see anything.
I was bummed for him but they’re going to try again in the late season.
I’m so thankful for the warm home the Lord has given us! Even though we have many little hands that are making their mark(s) it’s still a wonderful place to be!!!
I’m thankful for Advil! For the last few days I’ve had a head cold. The pressure is making me just want to lie down (all day) but I can’t. So I take Advil! I feel ok about an hour after I take it for about 3 hours then it fades again. But I’m thankful for the few hours that I don’t have to speak slowly and keep asking the kids to talk quietly!
I’m thankful for naps! These days I rarely lay down but when I have a cold I try to plan our afternoon in order to have at least 30min to lay down! So today I did and it was great!!
I’m thankful for daughters! Ben took the boys out to Cabela’s tonight and I had an evening home with the girls! I nursed the baby put her to bed and Madi and I watched a ‘jesus’ movie as she calls it! So fun to snuggle up on the couch with my girlie!
